Forest Aliya is a contemporary abstract landscape painter, muralist, and sound artist who lives and works in the Gold Country Foothills of Northern California. She describes her work as Timescapes which is a narrative of collective places that she has experienced in the physical world as well as with the minds eye and brought together to create a world that has not been fully manifested on Earth. In a timescape there is not time or space only movement between worlds which is expressed with color, line, and form.

Intuitively and strategically I create compositions with an energy center present that feeds morphed forms so they can relate and communicate inter- connectiveness between all living things. With color I create delicate balances of harmonies (transcendence, states of grace, truth) and melodies (creativity, certainty, love, polarity). As I bring these two concepts together my work becomes my song and how it interacts with earth.
