Beginning Acrylic Painting
with SK Lindsey
Tuesdays, March 10 - 31
5:30 - 8:30 PM
Cost: $60 ($15 each) for 4 consecutive sessions
$20 for walk-ins
An introduction to the fundamental concepts and techniques of acrylic painting with particular emphasis on color theory and it's practical application in painting realistically. This includes painting from still life, photographs, and the final session will conclude with expressive painting through observation of the dynamics of color.

SK Lindsey
SK Lindsey, owner of Kenneth B Gallery, earned her degree in Fine Art at the California State University at Sacramento. During the course of her studies, she has won numerous awards for printmaking, drawing, and painting, including the Raymond Joyce Witt Scholarship Award for Painting, in 1998.
Her works can be seen at the Kenneth B Gallery, and are in collections nationwide.

Basics of color theory and practical applications in painting and composition.

Discuss the effects of hue, tint, tone and shade and it's application through paint.

Use realistic imagery to create the optical illusion that the depicted objects exist in three dimensions.
