An evening with

Chris Chandler &

Amy Sue Berlin

Saturday, December 13th

6:30 PM doors open

Chris Chandler is known for his hypnotic and wildly entertaining monologs.  Behind his word riffs on American culture is a sharp eye and a deep love of language.  Striking in appearance, he sometime finds himself climbing any nearby chair to add emphasis to a story's riveting conclusion.  A showman to the core!

Chandler a son of a southern preacher, left his home and, instead of pursuing a career in NY theater, trusted his instincts to hit the road to discover and tell the stories of America.  This year’s roadshow offers a new face to the mix and Chandler is shaking his head in delight to find Anne Feeney’s daughter, Amy Sue Berlin, sharing the stage with him.  Sure to be a treat for the many Anne Feeney friends in Florence.

Chris Chandler’s fertile imagination will marinate every brain in the room, eliciting reactions of wonder and appreciation of a totally unique entertainment experience.

This program is the first of two Free Speech Weekend events sponsored by KXCR.  The second event is a special showing of the acclaimed, ‘Shadows of Liberty’ documentary about news media censorship, cover-ups and corporate control scheduled Sunday, December 14th, at 5 pm at the library.

All are welcome! There is no admission charge but all donations for the performers will be received with gratitude.
