The First Films | December 5 and 6

Film: Ever wanted to see the earliest film ever made? What was the first kiss captured on film? The first comedy? The first western? See them all as the Film House brings you a collection of the very first steps taken into the world of cinema.  Travel to a haunted house, rob a train, and take a trip to the moon's eye in a wonderful evening discovering the magic of film.

 

Enoy these films as they were meant to be enjoyed, with a live piano player, live sound effects, and authentic movie concessions from the era. Please remember to tip the piano player.

Preshow Dinner Disscussion: It all started with one question. Does a horse have all four feet off the ground when trotting? Friday dinner: Oven-baked ham served with roasted cauliflower, creamy scalloped potatoes, and housemade rolls with butter. Dessert is a french vanilla buttercream cake.

 

Saturday lunch: A full sandwich buffet with an assortment of roasted meats, Northwest cheeses, and assorted breads. Also enjoy a vegetable tray with fresh, housemade ranch dip and a baker's choice cookie platter. 

 

Vegetarian option provided by the gallery: Gourmet lettuce and kale salad with slivered almond, edamame beans, cranberries, and orange mandarin slices, served with artisan bread. Variety of salad dressings available at the gallery.
